Suffer

Since you left,

I’ve been trying my best,

raising our child.

I was barely managing to live here because you were here.

After being betrayed by you,

our child and I have been living in constant sorrow.

The house also

has started falling apart since you left.

And yet, even now, you continue to disrupt our lives.

A whole year has passed,

but you keep getting worse,

and I can’t keep up with this.

Today again, You sent me a strange text saying

“Have you been emailing to XXXXX”

What you care is just Your Mistress

Our teenage child misses you everyday.

I tried so hard living in your country.

I lost my carrier, and left my parents and siblings and friends in my country.

I prioritized your condition all the time for us to just be together as a family.

You promised me to live in my country someday in the future.

Then, how could you leave us in the darkness?

I thought we would be together forever.

I loved you deeply.

At 25, I married you.

At 27, I gave birth to our beautiful brilliant child.

At 30, You were diagnosed with cancer.

I built a life in a foreign land for you, for our child, for us.

I always lived in fear – that any day could be your last.
